A new podcast feature now in for the first time! In "From the Vault" Emma Bexell and Olof Palme dig out key speeches (or "portal speeches" as Olof used to call them") from Palme's rich rhetoric history and discuss their relevance today.
In this first From the Vault, we talk about a speech Palme gave to the SAP, Socialdemokratiska Arbetarpartiet as the Swedish Social Democrats were called then, titled "Framtid för Sverige - med forskningens hjälp".

Olof Palme, when alive, didn't know the price of a litre of milk when asked. Now that he is back we can hear him deliver a speech on food prices, class struggle and sustainability centered around the fact that today he knows the price of milk. This does not mean the same thing anymore. The fact that he knows doesn't bring him closer to the worker's movement. Or does it?
